Like many of you, I have an entire fleet of different batteries to manage. Panasonic, Canon, Bescor bricks, the list goes on. After buying some new gear, I am being forced (kicking and screaming) into adding yet another battery system: Sony L series. In this case, I want to buy clones of the Sony NP-F975 or the largest battery size possible. Generally I have had pretty good luck buying alternative batteries for less than the name brand. I also fully understand that this can go bad, but I have had pretty good luck with this overall. At one end I have purchased Ikan and been satisfied. Bottom feeding, I have gone the eBay route and done well also. I always look for vendor ratings and have even purchased directly from China and gotten excellent service with actual followup from the vendor.....amazing. I've also gone the Watson route and been generally satisfied.
Now I need to buy 8-10 of the Sony batteries. Does anyone have a brand or vendor recommendation. I am open to any suggestion except I won't pay Sony's price = $125+ for one battery.
