Battery or DVX problem?

I bought the Panasonic CGAD54SE/1B battery (the 5400mAh one) to use with my DVX and it works fine except for the battery indicator on the DVX never shows more than 60 minutes even when the battery is fully charged.

After running awhile the battery indicator goes down like it's the standard battery. If I power cycle the DVX the batt indicator goes back to 60 minutes. The battery seems to last many hours but it would be nice if the camera batt indicator was accurate. I'm wondering if the problem is in the battery or the camera. Anyone know??

That's not a battery indicator, it's a tape-remaining indicator. The battery doesn't show numbers, it only shows the picture/graph.

ok. Thanks. I'm way too used to those Sony cams that give the minutes remaining for the battery.

And I'll go finish reading the DVX manual now.
