Battery not charging

I bought my dvx with 3 batteries 2 were fine but 1 is not charging.

When I try to charge it the green charging light goes on for few seconds then it stops charging.

Model num of battery: Powersmart vps007

I looked at the prices for it online and they seem to be extremely cheap... So is there any point of taking it to a shop to see if it can be fixed or is it better to use it for explosion footage...?

It's done. Batteries work by a chemical reaction in which lithium moves between two materials. If it isn't moving there's not a lot most electricians can do, and it wouldn't be worth it.

Batteries are not fixable; the Powersmart vps007 is 3000 mAh which makes it of limited value for powering the dvx camera due to its low capacity.
