hey dudes,
i picked up my first dvx100b last august, and i've used it for a bunch of jobs/events/music videos, but around january i noticed that the battery would only last a maximum of an hour in the charger, and eventualy it stopped charging altogether.
today, i put the battery in, and the light flashes for a while, then starts to charge. its been going strong now for at least 40 minutes (the longest it's been in a while)
also, when i plug the dvx into AC power, the battery meter doesnt read full, it reads somewhere like 3/4 full.
is this inconsistency more likely the charger or the battery? my friends have different high-end cameras so i don't have another dvx handy to try my battery in... and i'm a college student.. so just buying the DVXuser battery (while it is something i plan to do) is not going to fix this right away.
also: what is the official warranty length on the charger/battery? i can't get through to panasonic and the place i bought the camera from (henrys in downtown toronto) doesn't seem to know..
any help would be hugely appreciated
