Battery charger/power supply

My old camera is a Panasonic PV-DV51D, it has a PV-DAC11 charger/power supply. I read in THIS thread that the dac11 works with the 100a. I assume this is true for the 100b? And if the charger is to work, would that also mean that I could use my batteries from the old cam?

Any info would be appreciated, I would love to have an extra charger and battery!
