Battery Charger Location Peli Case

So to combat the issue that many of us have, in that we have too many different types of batteries and chargers, I came up with the idea of a charging peli case. Turns out I wasn't the first to think of this but it is reasonably easy to do. I thought I'd share the results as it does make my life just a little bit easier when I'm on the road.

Nice work. I'm putting something like this together for a show where our only power source for 20 days will be from our vehicles 12-volt systems. I'll probably use a larger storage tub though, rather than a small Peli, and it will probably also serve double duty as our laptop workbench. Same idea though - something that keeps all my chargers and cables well organised, and packs away neatly in the back of an SUV.

So is this just plugged in somewhere and helped to organize cables/chargers, or is there a battery built in for remote charging? Couldn't tell by this post or the blog link. Nice work either way, just curious about powering it all

I did something rather like this using the knock-off iMax chargers that you can get from china. I use them to charge some custom (eh, homemade) NiMH packs that I use for small lights. It ends up being a small case with six batteries and two chargers. Rock up at the location, throw the case down near a wall socket, open it up, plug in, and you're in business.

The programmable chargers, incidentally, are extremely handy, as they can be pressed into service to charge just about anything. I use them as extra charging capacity for V-mounts all the time.
