Battery Charger, Green Light Goes On For Five Seconds...

And then turns off again, without fully charging the battery. I've left it in for a few hours but when I put the battery back into my DVX100b it only reads as less than half a charge. The red light on the charger does not go off. Is it more likely my charger or my battery? Both are stock from Panasonic and I only got the camera in August of this year.
