batteries questioins

I have a batch of batteries and was wondering does anyone know what is the best way to store them until the next shoot? Fully charged or on empty?

The battery manufacturing industry usually stores the new ones at 40%-50% of full charge with the idea that by the time a battery is delivered to a store, sold and put to use, it would be self discharged down to almost nothing. Either deeply discharging them or storing at full charge has bad effect on Li-Ion chemistry, so keeping them at just under 1/2 of full charge is the best approach.

What kind of batteries? Anton Bauer has always said that you can store their batteries on their chargers indefinitely.

They use the same chemistry as everybody else. The AB batteries have a lot of electronics inside for state of charge metering, LCD display support, and communication through their proprietary bus. If you do not keep them on the charger, they would self discharge real fast and likely beyond the point of no return... That is why they tell you that
