Batman V Superman

Yeah, this was just a bad film all the way around it. I HATED why Batman and Superman started to fight and the reason they stopped. Good ole Zack Snyder. All flash, no substance.

It also was not very well established that Metropolis and Gotham city are literally on opposite sides of the harbour

There aren't, at least in the original comics. Chicago = Metropolis. New York City = Gotham City.

One of the things that ruin many of the comic book stories, even in the comic books of today, is that they ignore continuity. I guess that happens with a lot of long running series, and comic books don't run for years they run for decades.

Of movie take offs, my two favorites were The Phantom (1991), and The World of Tomorrow both of which were very close to what I remember from the comics. Actually The Phantom was a newspaper comic. An it is kind of interesting that I actually cam across the World of Tomorrow when I was a kid (1950's), I bought a lot of used comic books back then.

More on topic: I am one of those who could not watch the movie all the way through. Apparently, I did not even get to the point where Wonder Woman showed up. I did think the guy playing batman looked the part perfectly.
