anyone ever batch upres hundreds of files from 720p or 480p to 1080p?

I have hundreds of AVI files at 1280x720 that I need to be at 1920x1080p

Instant HD works clip by clip in a timeline, but I need to have them all at 1080p to start with, as I will be doing a ton of picture in picture and split screen stuff.

any ideas?

I want to import hundreds of 720p clips and let it run. Kind of like Adobe Media Converter does... but do the the upressing.

Procoder, tmpgenc and cineform Hdlink all have batch faculties .... Virtual dub may do although I am hazy on that last one.

None of these are "smart" up-resizing like InstantHD though.

hm looks like tmpgenc is a mpeg converter, procorder the canpus thing? hdlink the black magic card?

hm, I'm looking for software, like Red Giant Grinder, but with the ability to add Instant HD.

Tmpgenc can encode to avi also. Hdlink is a Cineform software encoder. None of these can be used with Instant HD though.
