batch export fliped clips in FCP?

I am looking for a way to flip many clips that were shot with an adapter all at once and export them "flipped" to another drive. I could export every clip separate but that is taking too much time, anybody know how to make a "batch export" with an applied filter? I tried to use the media manager to convert all the clips into ProRez, but even though I applied a flip filter to all the clips, the converted clips were still mirrored and upside down...

just found the solution myself. The new version of streamclip can finally rotate clips on export, and also has a batch function. Exactly what I was looking for.

are you talking about this?

I'm facing the same problem. How long does it take to convert 30 minutes of raw footage?

exactly, that is it. It heavily depends on what machine you are using to convert. I would do a quick test. So far, it is the best solution I found. I convert all my footage to ProRes which is better for color correction than DVCPro anyways....

I'm going to do a test.

I'm debating between the brevis (non-flip) and the LEX. I'm shooting on a HPX so in the field the flip issues isnt a big deal. Half the time I dont edit myself, but i can see having to flip the image in post being a pain i the ass.

i ran a few test, and I can not seem to get the exported footage to match the quality of the original footage. I'm exporting into quicktime going back to DVCproHD settings. I have the res set to 100% and the interlacing off. The footage that is coming out seems to be lose some resolution.

The render times aren't bad (even on a first generation g5), I just seem to be loosing some quality in the process. any ideas? Does anyone else have a better workflow for flipping footage other then just rendering it out in FCP?
