Batch Capture problem

Hello,

I have been running into batch capture problems with FCP 6 when shooting with my dvx-100a in 24p mode. But when I capture manually, everything works and looks fine. I'm using a JVC SR-VS30 tape deck.

click the link below to see what the warning message says:

I have no idea what this error message means. Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Jason

You need to be more careful with your Device Control Preset is what it means. FCP likes to confuse DF and NDF in the log and capture window. We see it here all the time. So if your tape is DF then make sure you are using a device control preset of DF when logging and when capturing. If the tape is NDF then make sure you are using a device control preset of NDF when logging and when capturing. Build the presets if need be.

If you have logged it incorrectly and are now trying to batch digitize, and are just the device control is correct and happy, then what you need to do is highlight all of the clips you logged in the browser, right click on them in the media start or media end columns, and you'll get a popup window that will allow you to toggle between DF and NDF. Toggle it to what it should be and all of the clips will adjust. However, depending upon the duration of your clips, this might change some in/out points and durations on you, so you might want to use a bit of handles on digitizing then.

cheers.

OK that did help and the error message went away but now when I batch capture with non-drop frame selected, the audio becomes out of sync. Anyone know what the deal is?
