Bassmaster Oregon style...

got up to Davis Lake with a buddy this weekend - flyfishing only lake that has been overrun by implanted largemouth bass... it was a slow fishing day but we got to row around the lake in rain, snow, wind, 2ft. waves, and then sun, calm, beautiful water...Oregon dishes out the weather at times...

normally people can catch several bass (up to 6+) daily here but the water is still cold - here's a picture of a fish i caught (only one we saw caught of about 8 anglers we saw up there) its probably in the 6-7lb range and is on the small-to-average size for Davis...whatchuknow bout that BassMaster?

PJC - oh, we did...PBR beer-battered...

PDX - yeah, Davis is out Cascades Lake Hwy past Craine Prarie (sp?) Resevoir (about an hour out of Bend up Mt. Bachelor way...)
