Im shooting an even next weekend, not too formal, but probably 100 to 150 people. Its a luncheon. Can anyone give me some pointers?

I'm planning on using my DVX, 503HDV, pana tapes, pana shotgun, any other gear that you think I should pick up for it?

Depends on any "specific" speakers that you may want clear audio for. If it is a luncheon and you are just doing pans & static then no biggy, but if there are guest speakers and the audio is through a PA system, I would wire em up personally for crisper audio. IMHO

I think there will be a couple speachs through a speaker system. Just grab a long xlr, plug it in and set the dvx to line?
