Basic yet crucial; lens cleaner?

As a professsional still photographer with, among others, a Leica, I assumed I could use the same lens cleaner I use on all my gear on the dvx (Kalt Lens Cleaner) , but it seems to be leaving a film I can't remove (strange.) Can anyone reccomend a cleaner they have used which does a 100% job?

I use a Lens Pen. It's a chemically treated shammy or something like it. Use the brush in one end to remove the big stuff then just breath on the lens and wipe it down with the other end.

Recommendation though, you don't want to replace that front element on the lens, so clean it really well then put a UV filter on. This way if you scatch the filter you simply get a new one. A really good UV filter is only about $80 (it might seem like alot but imagine how much a front element might cost).
My UV filter has already saved me once that I know of. While filming a reality TV show, the actor got sparks from a grider flinging right at me. By the time I got out, there was a rather nice ding in the center of the filter. I now keep a spare filter at home as a replacement.
