Basic scrim questions

1.) what colors on scrims represent the following:
half double
half single
half triple

2.) Would it be a bad idea to use a label maker to make a label for each scrim to identify their size and who owns it and place it on the scrim? Can the heat generated cause it to burn and possibly catch on fire?

Thanks.

I've never seen a triple scrim before and when you say half double, half single, etc, do you mean half scrims? Like, they are only half a circle? Either way they are always the same color.

Red is double, green is single.

If you wanted to label the scrim, I would just use a marker of some sort on the outermost edge. Scrims do get hot and I wouldn't want anything that could catch on fire near or on them. Especially if there is some plastic in that label.

You should have scrim bags for each of your lights or each type of light though, that's how you would know which scrim goes to which light.
