Basic question about clip duration lengthening

In my final sequence, a clip (title) is 3 seconds too short. How do i change its duration in my final sequence without having to cut out the clip, export to a empty sequence, resize and re-past in the final sequence again. Is there an easier way?
thanks!

Yes. I'm a little confused on what your workflow is right now, but I'm sure there's an easier way than any kind of exporting.

What is your final sequence composed of? Does it have other nested sequences in it (say one for each scene)? Does it have rendered avis of other sequences (I don't think there's any reason to do this, by the way).

Anyway, if you have a title that's part of a piece of footage, and it's just a still title, all I'd do is use the Razor tool to cut the clip at the beginning of the title (and end if there's something after it), and then use the Rate Stretch tool to pull the edge out and make it slow-motion (which of course you won't see cause it's still).

Mate - you have asked the same question on three forums now. What is the problem with the answers you have been getting supplied?

For the third time - drag either end of the clip to the length you want it. (Its a Title clip - right ?)

Next Read the Manual and watch the Tutorial that came with the package.
