basic help, change clip keeping transition

Hello,

In the timeline: 2 clips with a transition.
I delete one clip, the other clip + transition remain in timeline.
I drag another clip to the timeline and I want to use the old transition (already in timeline with the previous clip)

Is it possible ? Any shortcut to drag the clip over the transition and use it ?

Another question, can I replace an audio clip using the levels changes ?
