Base bins?

I'm just wondering how all of you regard baes bins in cars, the ones that can be heard for blocks! I think they are a really selfish inasion of privacy. Right now there are some kids in a lot at the local park a block from here and the base from that car cannot be escaped anywhere in this huse. They have been there for well over an hour. Is it reasonable that I should have to sit in my home and have these low frequency waves disturb my solitude? Is it just me that gets pissed off with these things? I know I can turn up my music to defeat the racket, but at this point in time I'm trying to think and I have classical music on for thinking ambience.

Just curious.

No, they absolutely are irritating. I get them outside my appartment ALL THE TIME.

Such is life.

Yeah, it can get annoying! especially when they bump up some Yanni and John Tesh. Those deep strings can create some base.

Why don't you call the cops? if that don't work, you can fire a RPG and that will solve your problem.

The title of your thread threw me off track. Of course, you meant "bass" as opposed to "base". :cheesy: But, yeah, that stuff chaps my arse as well, Mino (pronounced: My Know). :) It was especially bad during my apartment days.

there used to be a guy who went up and down our street all the time with bass so high it rattled the windows.

whatever happened to common courtesy?

people walking through a crosswalk that says stop when you have a green light...
10 people coming into taco bell and cutting everyone cuz their friend is at the front of the line...
rear neighbors who tie their non-stopping barking dog in the yard right under your bedroom window...

some people you just wanna......

I will take a well tuned stereo over one that is just load any day. Some the best systems I have seen at CES and SEMA shows over the years where tuned by sound engineers, the guys that do big concerts, and they never seem to be the ones with the biggest DB rating.

These things are still hard to get in Vancouver.
