Barry's Book/Magic Bullet/Rebate

8 weeks for me and still no rebate. I did get the book and dvd though. Even worse news, when I check the status of my rebate online, it says "audited and denied:- Reason: The serial number you provided has
already been used for another rebate". Great. I may be out the $400 I thought I was getting.

Contact off line via PM and tell me your serial number, your model number as given on the underside of the Viewfinder, and your claim number if you have it.

I didn't make a copy of the claim, but I have copies of all the information that went on the claim, and the UPC. I called that rebate # posted on here and left a message, and called again the next day, still no answer or reply from them after 3 days...tomorrow I'll call the main panasonic line.

I am incensed that this nonsense is still going on! It took Panasonic three months to mail my rebate and that was with hounding the Tennessee rebate center constantly via phone. They kept telling me that Panasonic had not been sending them the rebate money! And yet others who had purchased cameras way after me had received their checks within a few weeks.

The coup de grace was the DVX Book and software. After about two months went by, I called the rebate center to inquire as to why I had not received the book and software. Veronica told me the rebate center mailed it out a few weeks prior! Well, I politely explained that I had not received it. She stated she would make sure the book and software were mailed right away.

Two days later I received a priority envelope from the rebate center. Finally! My book and software were mailed to me after hounding them for it!

I opened the envelope and found it filled with old New York Post newspapers. What the F**K?!

Furious, I called the rebate center and asked if I was on Candid camera! I demanded (yes, folks, DEMANDED!) they overnight me my book and software. Normally, I am not that way but I was so pissed at having been messed with that I just insisted they eat the cost of an overnight delivery for my aggravation. And damned if I didn't get my book and software the next day.

I think some kind of funny business is going on at the rebate center. They need to be investigated.
 
does the book and software get sent through mail or ups? I'm awaiting mine, its been a couple of weeks, so anytime I hope :)
 
They should have started using UPS a couple of weeks ago. Please contact me offline with your serial number and full model number as written on the underside of the viewfinder.

you wanted to know if i cashed a check from panasonic, but as of today i still have not received a check for any amount from panasonic. i think it's been 8 or 9 weeks.

thanks again for your help with this.
 
I got mine ordered last 4 months ago, and the shipping took about 2 weeks, I eventually got the Magic bullet software in the mail...it was all torn up in the envelope it was in..but it works.
