Bardwell and McALister Spotlight

Hey all. I have this spotlight in my garage, where it is currently collecting dust. It does work, but the plug end was removed and never replaced. I'm trying to figure out a year and, of course, a value. I'm looking to sell it to get it out of my garage and get it to someone that would enjoy having it. I have taken pictures and they can be viewed here. Any help you all can give would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Check here, these are the B&M guys: http://www.pyramid-films.com/

This is something I've never seen before, but I'm not a stage guy. At first glance I thought it was an ordinary fresnel but looking a bit closer it doesn't seem to be at all. First off, is there a reflector behind the globe? In a movie fresnel the globe and reflector travel together on a stage that can go forward and backward to widen or narrow the light beam by operating a screw or lever. Doesn't look like you have that here.

The snooted focusable lens and rotatable aperture make this look more like an early version of a Leko. It's probably exactly what you say it is: a spotlight.

I await illumination by one of the more experienced guys here who will know exactly what this old baby is because they once used them :)

The mirrored reflector is definitely missing, you can see the spigot where it would seat behind the lamp. An EGT lamp will bring this fixture up to its intended 1k output.

I concur that this is an early attempt at a leko. The aperture wheel is interesting. Does that generate a hard-edge projection?

I went out to the garage and put a temporary plug on the end and fired it up. The wheel piece has to fit into the square metal piece with the lens on it before it can be placed on the light. The wheel, when rotated, changes the size of the spotlight and the silver part on said piece does focus. The lever on the bottom makes the bulb itself go forward and back. There is something missing from the inside as you stated, but it was long gone before I got it. The current bulb in it is a 750, as it was when I got it. A friend of mine asked me if I wanted it and I said sure and am wanting to turn the garage into a workshop and the wife doesn't want it in the house, lol. So I'm trying to get all the info I can and find a buyer.
