I'm looking to turn a "Sunpak, Quantaray" monopod that I own into a, for now, hand-held Stabilizer . Not sure it might be overkill, but I was thinking of using a ball and socket joint to attach the handle to the mounting plate on the monopod. I did a brief walk though of lowes but none jumped out at me.
Does anyone know what type of shop would use a connector like this? In the morning I'm going to call aound to auto and atv shops to see if they sell one that in 1 inch or smaller and cross my fingers.
When I start I'll take pictures and start a post with my design. (not like there is a lack of info about others lol)
