Bad Quality after Import

Ahhh yet another problem! For some reason after i import my footage in FCP, it seems that my subjects seem to be pixelate almost as if i am zoomed in on them. It is normally the edges of the subjects. I have all of my sequences to the correct settings. I dont know if it is me or fcp. Has any one else run into this before? Oh, just to clarify, the footage is from a vx 2100.
 
I'm pretty sure it always looks like that for interlaced when you are viewing in FCP on a regular monitor. Try this, hook up your VX2100 to firewire port to the computer and use the AV cables to hook up to a TV, and open up FCP. If the footage doesn't come up right way on the TV, go to View>refresh devices or something like that.
You should be able to see the clips on final cut on the TV, full quality, and that's how it really looks.
I do that setup in SD when I edit.
