I am following the recommended workflow for creating back-up drives (firewire pocket drives) of the P2 media and then importing into FCP Studio. Sometimes, after import, when I playback the clip, I notice some bad frames with large colored/noise/pink pixels. I'm assuming there is data transfer problem but I can't seem to find the source of the problem and it's very inconsistent. If I try to re-import, the "bad frames" will appear in different places along the clip. The clips play fine on the Panasonic laptop and also when imported to Avid HD (although they tend to lose A1 over there - see my thread in the Avid forum).
