Technically it's not news. But it is Big News for me. I just got my Dvx100a !!! :o

I didn't get many accessories. A 5 pack of MQ tapes, lens cleaner and cloth and a B+W UV Lens.

I ordered it from Rush at EVS and he was very helpful.

I thought that ordering one was gonna be the hard part, but after getting a look at the manual, I'm getting a little dizzy already.

Anyways, I wanted to Thank everyone who helped me in making my decision about what to purchase.

HAH! Nice John. :D

Thistlebop- welcome to the club. Soon Jarred will email you a link to the REAL DVXuser board, the one that only people who own the camera have access to. :o

Thistlebop,

I'm very excited for you. I know you have wanted this camera for a long time. Get out there and shoot everything you can and learn this camera inside and out. It took me about 6 months to get the settings I am happy with so experiment, experiment, experiment.

Good luck.

Thanks guys !

I ordered my Tripod from Rush yesterday. I should of ordered a DVX Bib also, between the Rain outside and all my "drooling", its hard keeping "my precious" dry. :)

Hopefully I'll have a few "snaps" posted once I have a chance to figure out how to use one of the NLE's.
