Backgrounds: your favs

I decided to buy a background for interviews and started with a Westcott basic black muslin on a manfrotto 12' frame. I have a softbox and some fresnels to work with. I ended up not liking it too much. If you were going to have just one all purpose background for interviews, what do you like. If possible, be specific, and tell why it works for you.

Thanks in advance

Make your own. I see you are from Bellingham, there are plenty of hippies out there willing to tie-dye a canvas for you. :-)

Kidding....I got a blue and a red, although very cool when I light it from the back, it sometimes can steal the show. I would still use them, but I think I would look for one that may not be so vibrant. I made a couple YEARS ago for Photography, with that Dye Rite, on a canvas, came out a just like the ones you buy.

Well if I could only have one backdrop, I would choose a green one. That way I could change it later in post to what ever BG I really wanted.
