Background removal

Hi everyone, i shot a music video in a backyard for a friend, as he is walking along the side of the house, the cables are showing on the wall, how can i edit the background to make it dissapear? it can be any type of effect but just making the cables not be visible? your help is very appreciated thank you

That really depends on the shot. If it's moving I would motion track a patch over the cables. You can make the patch by masking out another clean piece of the house. If it's a locked-off shot you can generate a clean plate by cloning over the wires in a still picture and then you can place this below your footage and roto out the piece of top footage (the one with the wire) to reveal the clean layer below. That way you can reveal the clean part slowly, so it matches up with your actor walking. There are a few other ways too, but those might be good things to test out first...

your definatley going to have to motion track your wall and apply the data to a null layer, then possibly bring in another layer of something (grass, fence, whatever) and parent it to the tracking data null layer
