Background Process

I'm trying to make a first dvd with FCP Studio Pro 4 and Compressor. Can anybody tell me how to get around the window that pops up saying "Unable to connect background process," after I've submitted the setting and destination for my quicktime mov? What does it mean, and what can I do to continue?

"Ok found the answer... to the Compressor 1.2.1
" Unable to Connect to Background Services"

Mac HD/Applications/Utilities/Terminal and then type this:

sudo /Library/Startupitems/Qmaster/Qmaster

Then hit Return, then enter your administrative password.

Then you should get a message about Qmaster services starting up.

Re-Launch Compressor."

I found this here: http://dvcreators.net/discuss/showthread.php?t=10311

It worked.
