Background (Layout) Color

Seems stupid, but last I worked with Vegas I was able to change the grey background to white (much easier to read for me), now when I sat down the other day, I spent 20 minutes trying to find that capability. I've searched the menus, and the forum, but can't seem to find that stupid setting. Not under 'Properties" nor under "Display" which is where I thought I would find it.

Anyone remember this? Just trying to get the "grey" background to white.

sigh....

I downloaded the manual and it appears that there is only the default Sony theme or the default WIndows theme. No customization. The default Windows theme is better but I still don't understand how to make the background white, rather than grey.

The layout, scheme, whatever. The whole "grey" new look to the product is just not what I consider "easy to read". I'd like to set the whole background of the product to white, and have all text black, blue, whatever. Higher contrast without using a Windows "High Contrast" theme. Make sense?

I asked because the Preview window has specific background colors you can set.

There's never been a way to change Vegas's overall app color without changing the Windows theme.

You can change the 3D object settings in Windows, but like David said, it changes it for all your apps as well. When I did it, I only really noticed it in DVD Architecht and Vegas, so maybe give it a try...?
