back focus & infinity

Hi Guys,
So I have a quick question and was not able to find using the search function.
My M2 adapter is focusing past infinity with my nikon lenses.
So do I:

1. move the GG closer to the HVX or

2. move the GG further from the HVX

I want to be able to focus the lenses to infinity but not past it.
