So I found this discussion on the shoot35 forums but I think the community is far larger over here so I'll post on dvxuser.
"Also if the RR is the num. 2, set the lens speed faster than f5.6.
With RR2 @ f5.6 and over you start to see the grain, in some cases at f4 depending on the lens and the camera settings. "
So I have shot some things and noticed the gg come into view. Do my lenses have anything to do with this or is it just my cameras fstop? I tend to shoot wide open or close to because of the light limitations with shooting w/ an adapter and less than perfect lenses.
Would I be wise to close the fstop a little more? or do I have this backwards? (I'm not talking about DOF just in relation to gg and boken, and noise grain)
Am I safer shooting at 2.4 or 5.6?
NEXT Q
I'm fairly sure I need to adjust my backfocus. I can't quite seem to be able to focus on infinity and sometimes it seems like its more in focus with my lens "almost to infinity" than actually on it.
What lens should I adjust to? 24mm or 200mm or doesn't matter?
Thanks
