hello,

well as you can see im a student stuck in a hard spot right know. parents are asking me all kinds of questions.

i am thining about going to university of north texas to recieve a bachelors in rtvf. but, i want to be smart and major in something i could make some $ in and collect benefits. lets just say i did go recieve a BA in RTVF, what kind of jobs are out there for me? pros? cons?

or on the other hand, should i go ahead and try and become a RN (registered nurse), but still focus on video/film production outside of school?

any advice would help. thanks.

Re: Bachelors in radio, television, and film?

RN (registered nurse) = guaranteed income.

BA in RTVF = possible income.

I have my B.A. in Theater actually! I have acted in several movies, tv shows, plays and commericals. However, I needed work on more consistent basis and I already had a passion for working behind the camera. So with that said, I am doing what I am doing now but I am glad I have the Degree in Theater with a minor in TV Production. I was thinking about going to a school like Full Sail in Florida for a Masters in Film. I am not sure though at this point.
