Babysitter Wanted...

I'm 60 minutes into this movie and thoroughly enjoying it.

A full 180 at the Midpoint--a classic red herring.

Laughing my ass off at the sadistic bastard (the REAL antagonist) and his warped justifications.

Nice twist on what could've been another derivative horror flick.:Drogar-Evil(DBG):

Just my 2 cents.

Okay, it's over. Denoument was disjointed, a little hard to follow. Two Directors, maybe that had something to do with it? I dunno.

Overall, though, a fun ride. Effectively executed given its (low) budget constraints.

Ending's a set up for a sequel.

I just watched this yesterday and loved it!

Through the first half of the movie I was saying to myself "Oh, how typical, this has been done a trillion times, what a cliche, etc..." But right at the midpoint, DAMN was I shocked.

It's good to see horror filmmakers can still come up with juicy twists every now and then.

I'd highly recommend this film.

THANK YOU Tim!

I needed some validation. I thought the same thing you did--typical, low budget, cliched horror flick... then ZOWIE! the midpoint threw me for a loop.

Anyone else?

Actually...the second she went to the house for her"interview" I guess, me and my friend called the twist. We both just looked at each other and went..."OK Damien!"...then like 20 minutes later the twist came and we just shook our heads.

It was ok, but I think so much more could have been done with it.

At that same point, my wife and I looked at each other and said, "the parents are the killers." Partly correct, I guess, but we had no idea what their motive would be, and didn't call the rest of the twist.

Honestly, we were joking, turned out to be right in the end, but still joking nontheless. It's partly from watching WAY to many horror movies. I've come to expect pretty much everything when it comes to horror. But that's just me, to other people this movie may unfold and shock them.

I mean, I've seen a whole lot of horror movies. And it's that reason that it shocked me because the path this film started out on I've seen a billion times so I ceased to expect very much originality from it. And it's right when things are at their most cliched point that they flip it around on you. I suspected at the beginning (with the awkward looks from the father, etc.) that the parents would be involved but after I couldn't figure out a logical reason why I just let that theory go. You also think to yourself "Man there's something weird with this kid" but the man who is lurking outside really grasps all of your attention.

I really thought this was going to be another "When a Stranger Calls" or "The Strangers" but they fooled me.
