I was sent to New York last night to deliver some HDCAM layoffs from work. I arrived at 7:30 this morning and was siked to be on the East coast for the first time. I delivered the tapes to the Convention Center (Jacob K. Javits Convention Center) and then I was free to roam until my flight home at 4:00.
I walked all around the city until I stopped on a corner to see the most beautiful sight. The B&H Photo Video store that I have seen many pictures of online. I ran into the store like a gitty child. I was so excited to see my favorite online purchasing store come to life. They had almost everything in their catalogs on a shelf, or display. It was the coolest thing I have seen.
I just wanted to mention that, I know a lot of you guys are from that area so it's no biggy for you, but was for me. I saw a lot of the main sights as well, but ran into a TV shoot filming on lacation for "The Jury" Was being shot in a park on Panavision Cams. Was sweet thing as well..

I dream about going to B&H every time I look through one of their magazine adds. I love the web site too. I will go there to read up on gear, too. Great place!
