B&H mistake Sony HVR-V1P for Panny HVX 200

Bought a couple of items from B&H Photo in New York so their Summer 2007 brochure arrived a few days later on my doorstep.

OK, so you know how Sony's HVR-V1P was seen by some as a bit similar to our beloved HVX? Well, I was just flicking through the brochure, being a nerd at the breakfast counter, when on page 255 I see the HVR-V1P for sale... but hey, it really looks similar to the HVX! Same body shape... same Leica lens(?)...

...same PANASONIC logo!!????

Yep. Freudian slip maybe, or tongue in cheek... but B&H have just advertised the Sony HVR-V1P with a HVX photo!

Classic.

It's the small things...!

Yea, there's plenty of mistakes in those catalog. They're not exactly the highest quality publication. I think that mistakes was made in earlier ones too.

While we make every effort to be as accurate as possible, from time to time there could be an error or typo in our catalog. The catalog stipulates, "Photos are for illustration purposes only and are subject to change without notice. Not responsible for typographical or illustrative errors." We regret errors like this, infrequent as they may be.
