B&H Impact light kit

Is anyone using this light? If so what are your opinions? I'm looking for some pretty basic lighting for indoor interviews. I am also shooting a very low budget music video and would like some lighting for that. Generally I shoot weddings, so I'm not sure if this is a light that could help me out during the reception or not. Does this look good? If no, is there another affordable light kit that would better suit my needs?

Thanks!

i guess you got to start somewhere... the light is ok, but will start falling part pretty quickly, plus the 6 hour life span of the bulb... those will start adding up pretty fast.

Buy used mole richardson lights. Best bang for your buck in used lights. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to lights. It's FAR (I can't stress this enough) better to buy some clamp lights and flood lights from home depot (especially if you can find ceramic bases) than to buy that cheap crap. The clip lights will last a lot longer and cost you practically nothing.

I used this light a lot at my former employer. If I remember the fixture fell apart and we had to replace the switch on the cord a few times. I was slightly electrocuted once, too, when I turned the unit on :)... Does the source have to be tungsten balanced? I just picked up this unit http://www.adorama.com/FPSSB.html from Adorama and I am pleased with it so far.

it looks like a clamp light on a light stand with an umbrella. You might as well go to home depot.
