B&H’s BILD Expo

Went to B&H’s BILD Expo at the Javits Center today. The show was jam packed with attendees. Reminded me of the old Photo Plus Expo days. The Expo trade show was about 50% still photography and 50% video/cinematography. I was surprised by the amount of high end pro video equipment on display. Arri and Red were there with cameras and lenses on display. Same for Sony and Canon. DJI, Easyrig, Atomos, SmallHD, Avid, BM Davincy Resolve, plus numerous other accessory makers for the pro video market had their products on display. B&H was running a shuttle bus from the show to their store. When I was on the bus it was full. Glad I went to the show. Got to see and check out everything I was interested in. Plus I spent a few $$$ at the store.

I was at the store yesterday poking around The Studio and there was a HUGE line to register for BILD. I would have signed up had it not been my last day in NYC.

Was this the first BILD event? Or has it been going on for a while?

This show was special to celebrate B&H’s 50th anniversary. Hopefully B&H makes a similar show an annual event.
