Has anyone used this mic? Please tell me it's decent since I have one being delivered Tuesday... It seems like a good deal. I read a favorable review here: http://www.videomaker.com/scripts/article.cfm?id=8744&GU=le929 . How about other Azdens.... Anyone care to chime in?

It'll do you fine. You can't do better for the price. It uses hardly any power and your AA battery will last almost forever.

I guess that depends on what you mean by "significant." The ME66 is the better mic. But if the Azden does what you want with no problems, then you're in great shape.
I wouldn't get too worried about it until you start using it and find it not to your liking.

..i have one too it does a good job, but the me66 would do better. for most practical applications, its a good mic. i use it mainly for voiceover stuff, and sometimes for field backgraound sound or other things. ... but since youve got one coming anyway, you can just judge for yourself if it fits your needs or not i guess.
