Azden Pro-XD wireless system

??? They say it's better than VHS, but really VHS kind of sucked so... Also the reviewer seems confused with meters VS feet, so it either works to 100 meters in optimal conditions (which could be OK) or it works to 100 feet in optimal conditions( which would be not very good at all). It's in the crowded WiFi band so it might well get problematic with a bunch of WiFi signals, i.e. not bad in the middle of nowhere and almost useless in the middle of a big city.

Axden also has a less than shiney reputation so I would wait for some hands on and seriously look at what your expectations are. I'm sure it would be OK for home movies but might well not make the bar for say wedding shoots.

I will say from many years experience that "you get what you pay for" does have exceptions, but they are usually in the mid zone, not at the bottom of the bracket. And the bargains almost always have a string attached. I have a number of Oktava mics. They were in the lower 1/2 or so of the market. I like them a lot but you have to be very careful with handling noise. I have a number of "less than top of the line" gear that does fantastic, but it is a rare case where I have bought at the bottom and had a real bargain.

Not to say this might not be one of those exceptions, but I would wait till there is some real reviews in. If someone who does what YOU want to do is using them and loves them then maybe you will be happy with them.

I put it that way because most of us are doing different things and have different "must haves" with equipment so what I consider great might not work well for you.
