Azden FMX-DSLR This mixer has lots of static sound

Does not sound fare , is that your way? to sell a defective equipment ? Azden do it, and what look at their reputation , all around the world people talks about their low quality products.
As well if you do that your customers will hate you. Sure I will move on, what really bothers me is that at the begining they didn't accept the fact, of the problem, instead made me exchange the product 3 times at very high prices.
and looking for not disturbing more this thread, I'm out, Bye, Bye

It is not "my way to sell defective equipment". You said you found a way to work with it. I would assume you'd pass along that info if you were to sell it or is that not 'your way'?

You've had several replies but seem intent to refute all suggestions and theories.

What do you want us to do or say about it that hasn't already been said?

For anyone else reading this, IF the mixer was picking up RFI that would not be particularly odd depending on what was flying around and what was connected etc.

However the OP now seems to think the mixer is generating RFI. That is next to impossible, mixers just don't have much associated with them that works in that range.

Which kind of goes back to what a lot of folks were saying, he hasn't really got a clue what is happening and has decided against advice to blame it on a box.

Unfortunately this is not unusual either.

My advice to others is get over it. Nine times out of ten the problem is something YOU did. We "old timers..." can say it is probably X not because we are some how super smart but because WE made that mistake. What makes you better is figuring out what the problem is, and understanding that it is probably something you did wrong, or forgot to check etc. If you go in with the assumption that you can do no wrong then you only have a 10% chance of finding the problem.

Own it, embrace it, and remember it. Then when someone else is having a problem that "sounds familiar" you can give them some great advice and be "a genius!".

Ok guys great news this comes directly from the factory in Japan, MR Mikuriya helped me with the problem , and I'll share with you this valuable information.
The unit is sensitive to RFI because of shielding, the enclosure has 2 metal sides, where the controls and connections are, those do not give problem.
The problem is with the other 4 sides which are plastic sides, so He adviced me to build a case in fabric with foil paper inside the case, I mean between 2 layers of fabric, this has to be
double layer of foil paper, or a thick one, leaving an opening for the controls with metal enclosure.
AND GUESS WHAT it does work I can have a cell phone in my pocket and does not give any noise at all, I tested it just by wrapping the sides with foil paper, and woooorks!
Now will start making the bag or case. Of course now this will be used in my belt, no under the camera.
Hope this helps a lot of people and Thank you for sharing but the real help came from Mr Mikuriya
