Greetings From A First Timer
I am trying to set up my NEW Azden 200PR wireless system on my DVX100b and seem to be having some issues.
I checked the Azden unit off line on my mixer using my headphones and the sound seems to be working great through both transmitters.
Using these same headphones (Yamaha) with the on board microphone on the camera also produces good sound through the phones so I don't think there is an impedance issue with the signal to the headphones.
When I place the Azden unit on the camera and hook up the XLR cables, make the input changes to use the wireless and then check the signal through the phones it is almost undetectable.
I adjusted the audio level control on the camera and the transmitters without much noticeable increase in the throughput.
I shot some footage and checked it in Premier CS3 and the sound was almost non existent on the audio track, but was recorded to the track.
Am I missing something here?
Ive done a lot of trouble shooting but cant seem to track it down.
Any suggestions would help greatly.
Thanks Dave in Tennessee
