AYDVM63MQ Discontinued ?

[KDE]

I've heard panasonic is discontinuing the 63MQ tapes. ?

now what ? PQ or AMQ ??

Where did you hear that? The 63MQ's are their most popular tapes. I doubt they would discontinue them.

Even if they did, there is plenty of stock out there....

My local supplier told me and I have seen these :

I too thought it was improbable that Panasonic would discontinue them, but figured someone here would know.

Thanks

Interesting. Had never heard this before. Thanks for the heads up if it does indeed intend to be true.

I have never ordered from these stores or have even heard of them. Are they honest? Could be trying to pull a bait and switch for the AMQ's. I did a search on "63MQ dicontinue" and nothing really came up.

Yes, this has been going around for a while now, a half a year at least. Never did find out if it is true though.
And like tabanucci said, there seems to be plenty of stock around still.
