AVI uncompressed

I always render my finished film to uncompressed AVI, even if I then need to immediately copy the result to a DVD and delete the original file to free up hard disk space - I like to always have a highest-quality-possible version of the film, both as an archive copy, and for possible input elsewhere (e.g. for a DVD compilation.

I know some people just keep all the source files instead but a complete standalone AVI means no worries about later discovering corrupted or missing or otherwise unrenderable project and source files.

I never use uncompressed and can't see any reason for it. Lossless compression like HuffYUV creates smaller files, with no loss of fidelity whatsoever. If someone needs it on a Mac, I'll create lossless PNG or MJpegA files.
