AVCHD 1920x1080, 24p Plays 'jerky' after Prores 422 L&T in FCP7???

Hi, I hope someone can help. I have just Logged and Transferred some footage I shot on GH3, AVCHD 1920x1080, 24p. My AV settings in FCP7 are Apple ProRes 422. However, when I play back the footage in one of the windows in FCP7, there seems to be very noticeable lines/ breaks in the picture on all the fast panning shots. What are these? Are my settings in FCP7 wrong? Please Help. Thanks, Al.

Actually I've figured it out, I think. The same footage plays fine within a QT window, so I guess it is FCP that is having trouble playing the progressive file in the canvas window hence the lines. I've heard when I come to export final project it should all be good.
