What is the talk of something in-between AVCHD and AVC-Intra about?
A 50 Mbit/s long-GOP 4:2:2 AVC format variant (not P2), as well as 25 Mbit/s 4:2:0 variant, both 10-bit formats.
Is Panasonic planning on offering something in-between the AVC-Intra (HPX-250) and AVCHD (AC 130/160) ?
If so, that sounds just like what I need. Better color grading and keying 4:2:2, and recording to SD Cards to eliminate the problems associated with using P2 (greater expense and shorter recording times).
