Avatar Poster

[New_Zealand]

I went to see a movie today and while I was walking around the theater waiting for it to start I look at the posters of up coming films. I saw the poster for Avatar. The poster almost looked like it had a 3D effect but really wasn't or at least I didn't think it did. Has anyone else seen the poster? I was wondering how one can make a poster like that?

Easy. But if I told you I'd have to kill you. -kidding.

I haven't seen it, but generally fake 3D can be done with silver inks I think. Not something you could do at home. However, I haven't seen it but it sounds cool. It might be pricey the way I'm thinking so I wonder if it's in select theaters to get attention like this? Could be worth it for the buzz factor.

Interesting idea.

//I've heard the words 'ground breaking' when mentioning Avatar. So it wouldn't surprise me if it's along those lines as well.
