avaliable fluorescent lighting

Here soon a friend of mine will be shooting a short commercial (for his portfolio) in a 11ft square room without windows. There are two flourescent bulbs to light the space with hanging overhead.

now for the commercial he plans on covering all of the walls with paper (black and white) and then shooting from the corners with a fisheye lens to give some creative perspective.

im a little worried that the avaliable light will not be adaquate enogh - especialy with the black paper soaking part of it up. and without anywhere to add extra lights (thanks to the fisheye) im stuck with using the fixture already there. just curious if you guys might have any ideas how i might be able to increse the output of the lights already there (changing to higher wattagh bulbs? which bulbs?) or perhaps even somthing a little more creative like adding a frosted celing to diffuse the light some more :)

i hope this isnt a worthless thread - its my first one to start

Is it a 180 degree fisheye? If not, then you could put a couple of lights beside the camera and bounce them off the ceiling to bump up the light.

its 87 degree, in a corner makes for a 3 degree space between the FOV and the wall. if we pull the camera forward a little, that should be enough

great idea :)

With an 87 degree you have plenty of space to squeeze lights in there. Off to the sides and behind, bounced off the ceiling and side wall corners. You can also drop a white silk from the ceiling like an upturned parachute and diffuse that light some more, but then you eat up all the wattage from those fluorescent fixtures. Add plus-green gel to your lights to balance with the overheads.
