Does any software exist that will make adr easier and more accurate? I was watching an interview that had an adr engineer and he said that these days software can take the original audio that is being replaced and match the sound wave peaks and valleys to the new adr recording so they sync up better. I know you could take any decent sound editor and expand the original sound wave and adr sound wave then "slide" the individual bits of dialogue so they match better.. but I figure there should be a plugin to stream line this.. If not does anyone at least know of software that automatically puts the three beep cue before the dialogue that is to be replaced? I read online about something called pyramix daw which does this? does any apple software have such a plugin? thanks for your help..

I have Vocalign Project, which is an older version they gave out with certain Pro Tools options that you can buy. I prefer to edit by hand. Not saying that Vocalign is bad, but it shouldn't be used as the only tool.
Remember that the audio used in product demoes will always play to that product's strengths.
