Now does anyone out know of any info on Transformer the live action movie? I coudn't find a whole lot of info on this movie. All I heard is that Steven Speilberg is producing it? I hope they don't phuck this one up too. The production company involed did movies like Spawn2, Iron man & Astro boy which I've never even seen. I'm getting nervous...

Re: Autobots Transform

My company is making it! And that's all i can say. :-X

are you serious? So you work for Angry films? Well I'm counting on you, make us proud!

PS, can I get bumble bee's autograph? ;D

Re: Autobots Transform

Wait wait wait. Dreamworks is making this film. Aren't we?

HAHA I actually work at a dreamworks animation house, so I've only heard rumors. But I'm under the impression that it's all Dreamworks. I could be wrong though.

Re: Autobots Transform

I think you're right, actually. Anyhow, it seems like it should be taken pretty seriously and actually be great if all goes well.

Did you go to the USC film school, btw? I'd really like to talk with you via pm if you did.

What do you do at dreamworks? I know they've got a pretty massive new animation company since Shrek 2's success.

Re: Autobots Transform

sounds like you're not telling the truth. I know you know something, what are you hinding!? Better not be a midget underneath your coat.

TC, what job is it that you specifically do for DW animation house? My friend works there, but he's a janitor. :)

Re: Autobots Transform

I hate telling people that I work at Dreamworks. Because they inevitably ask what I do there. Well I'm a security guard. That's right! Laugh it up! But I'm technically in the movie industry, so you can all kiss my ass! ;)

I'm a film major with a minor in animation, and I'm trying REALLY hard to get my big break here.

Re: Autobots Transform

Nothing laughable about being a security guard...way cooler than being a cashier (my last job.)

You're a film major at USC, though? If so, that's way more impressive than some entry level job at Dreamworks. Heck, Steven Spielberg is basically the head of dreamworks, and USC rejected him....twice.

Are you in the grad school or the undergrad program? I'm doing undergrad (elsewhere...) but hoping to get into USC for grad school and I'll need all the help and advice I can get.

Re: Autobots Transform

I'm not goin to USC, I hope I didn't ever give that impression. :-/

I'm still doing my GE. :(

Re: Autobots Transform

Nah, my bad. I must have misinterpreted a positive response to one of my other questions as a positive response to that. I'm working on getting my undergraduate degree and I'm feeling ready to drop out right now, so no worries at all.

Re: Autobots Transform

TC, If you ever see Mr.Spielberg, tell him Woodson would love to be a assisant director on any of his future movies.

DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures, in association with Hasbro, Inc., will develop a live-action, motion picture based on the globally popular Transformers franchise. Steven Spielberg will executive produce. The film is slated for release in the summer of 2006. Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Constantine), Don Murphy (The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) and Tom DeSanto (X-Men and X2: X-Men United) are attached to produce.

Catwoman screenwriter John Rogers is writing Transformers, the DreamWorks/Paramount live-action tentpole based on the popular Hasbro toys, reports Variety.

Steven Spielberg is executive producing the film that is slated for a Summer 2006 release and will likely be a franchise property. Tom DeSanto, who executive produced the two "X-Men" films, wrote the story that Rogers will adapt.

Re: Autobots Transform

Oh, good lord. There goes the story. They'll probably end up being robots built on Earth rising up against their human creators in his version of the story.

LOL

I also cringed when I saw Catwomen screenwriter

I hope they stay true to the original Transformers and not the other versions out there where they go over the top with the robots and vechiles

As a writer and a big fan, it would be a dream to bring Prime and the other bots to life on the big screen with credibility, and I would give my left arm to be involved in this project

Re: Autobots Transform

what aboot GoBots...they were rad...

star scream was awesome...that voice!

Re: Autobots Transform

I think Gobots were too G-rated.

The Decepticon Transformers were all badasses.
I would always tune in because Megatron always had to start some ****. He was like the Tony Soprano of Hasbro cartoons back in the day.

Starscream was one crazy muthafakka
So was Galvatron

Too bad Starscream got wacked by Leonard Nimoy

Re: Autobots Transform

I'm sorry to say but Starscreen was a bit of a pussy when Megatron flexed his mussle, Starscreen would beg for mercy

But he did bring a cool dimension to the story trying to take over Megatron

In my opinion Soundwave was probably the best Decepticon (how cool was he and his little cassets Ravage Laserbeak and Rumble)

You gotta love the dinobots especially Grimlock!

Everybody knows Prime was the Greatest but who were your other Autobot favs
