hey, We just had a shoot this weekend where we ran dual sound. We recorded onto the HPX and onto a HDD recorder. I know there are ways in Final Cut to create new multi-clip squences that syncs up the video and sound, but is there a process in vegas to do this?
There is supposed to be a new feature in Vegas 8, which I just got, that is supposed to do this. Unfortunately, I have not had time yet to check it out. I've always done it the old fashion way with ye olde clapper frame. Then you just line up the wave files from both audio sources by hand to the clap frame...which is usually pretty easy to do. If you didn't use a clapper frame, you can usually find a frame to use as such to key on. Good luck!
